Cruceros Canet offer daily cruises from the western port town of Ciutadella around the coastline in their boats, San Telmo II and Jumbo. The all-day excursion takes visitors to virgin beaches.

Menorca Cathedral is an impressive Gothic building in the heart of Ciutadella, which was the island's capital until the 18th century. Step inside to see the ornate Baroque Chapel of Souls.

Monte Toro

Monte Toro is Menorca's geographical and spiritual centre, and at 357 meters it is also its highest point. On a clear day it offers fantastic views.

Trepuco Tayalot

The village of Trepuco, just south of Mahon, features some of the best examples of Menorca's many talayots and taulas, prehistoric megaliths similar to those at Stonehenge.

S'Albufera d'Es Grau

The S'Albufera d'Es Grau nature reserve stretches for eight and a half kilometres northwards along the coast from Cap de Favaritx, encompassing dunes, wetlands and Menorcan scrub.

Los Delfines Aquapark

Los Delfines Aquapark, just outside Ciutadella, offers 12500 square meters of fun for the whole family. Rides include the Black Hole, Adventure River, Giant Toboggan, Hydrotubes and Children's Play Area.

Cala Galdana

Known as the "Queen of Menorcan Beaches", Cala Galdana is a, near perfect, horseshoe bay surrounded by almost vertical pine-clad cliffs, and is considered the most beautiful beach on the island.

Club Son Parc

Club Son Parc has Menorca's only golf course, which has now been developed into an 18-hole course in the last few years.

Surf n' Sail Menorca

Located on Son Xoriguer beach, the Surf n' Sail Menorca Water Sports Centre offers catamaran sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, parasailing, sailing and motorboat hire. There are courses for all levels.

Nature Museum of Menorca

The Nature Museum in Ferreries is an information centre run by the local government, located at the heart of the island on a biosphere reserve it also features seasonal exhibitions all year round.

Maó Scientific, Artistic and Literary Centre

The Maó Scientific, Artistic and Literary Centre (Ateneu Científic, Literari i Artístic de Maó) has been open since 1905 and offers a variety of facilities to the public.

Santa Águeda Castle

A cobbled Roman road leads up Santa Águeda Castle, perched 264 metres above sea level. It's worth the climb, as views from the top are spectacular.

Blue Water Scuba Club

Just one of many diving schools in Minorca, the Blue Water Scuba club on the south-western corner of the island offers a variety of courses.

Just one of many diving schools in Minorca, S'Algar Diving, on the south coast of the island, offers courses for beginners and the more advanced divers.
