Horse Riding



Horse riding is almost an integral part of life in Menorca. The distinctive Black Menorcan horse are held in high regard and are thus broken in carefully. These animals frequently perform at fetes and fiestas both large and small. Alternatively you can take in one of the manyequestrian shows held throughout the island during the summer months.

If you favour a more hands on approach you can enjoy a ridingholiday on the Island. Guided excursions and rides through the Tramontana region's countryside and beaches are also available.There are horses and routes to suit allcomers from complete beginners to experienced riders. Non riders are also catered forwith excursions in a traditional horse-drawn cart. There are manyriding centers in Menorca and we believe Stables Farm near Cala en Porterand the Minorcan farm of Santa Rita, between Mercadal and Ferreries offerfull ranges of riding experiences.
