Cala Pregonda

A Peaceful Bay

Cala Pregonda is situated west of Fornells on the North coast of Menorca in a protected area of natural beauty. The beach is accessible on foot and is about 20 minutes walk from Binimella. It is a stunningly beautiful sandy beach with rock formations and hills coated in Pine and Tamarisk.

The best way to get to this beach is from Binimel la. Take the steps at the western end of this beach and follow the track across the salt flat and the pebbled cove. Climb the headland above the dunes and them descend onto the beach.

As you approach do not be put off by the sight of concrete houses behind the beach. These were built before the restrictions o coastal building were introduced. They certainly could not be built today. However once on the beach and these eyesores behind you will begin to feel the magic of this place as you look out towardsCap de Cavelleria, Menorcas most northerly point.

This beach is popular with nudists but as it is rarelycrowded there is normally room for all in this peaceful bay.
