This beach Resort was one of Menorca's first resorts. Located on the southern coast it is a well developed resort.
If you look at the map to the left you will see the small town is high above the beach on the cliff top. There are steps down to the beach,
about 200 at the last count! There is, thankfully, a resort "Train" which runs regularly between the beach and the town.
The resort is well served by Hotels, Apartments and
Villas and also has limited nightlife, mainly centered on the hotel although
the famous Cova d'en Xoroi ,nightclub in a cave, is at the southern end of the town.
It is easy to get here by car as it is well signposted and there is a free car park beside the beach.
Public transport runs regularly to the resort in season.
The high cliffs at each side of the beach make it very sheltered and there are full facilities on the beach and the immediate area.
To the rear of the beach is a wetlands area.
The sandy beach is well serviced with facilities and nearby are shops and cafes by the free Car Park. Access to the beach is easy for the disabled.
At weekends and in high season the beach becomes very crowded due to it easy access and easy parking.
